Felting

Felt roofing is typically used on flat roofs, garages and outbuildings. Felt roofing is sometimes a more affordable option and the modern felts are more durable than in the past and less prone to cracking.

County Durham Roofing Services typically use the traditional built up felt roofing system for all our repair and replacement flat roof work. This consists of layers of bitumous felt bonded together to ensure that your roof is fully protected against the elements.

Where required we also offer the modern High Performance felt with mineral additives. Although a little more expensive it has the advantage of lasting twice as long.
